Step 1: Set Up a Verified PayPal Business Account

If you do not have an existing PayPal account and do not wish to use a PayFlow compatible Merchant Bank account :

1. Go to PayPal Open Your Ecommerce Website | Canada Open Your Ecommerce Website | Australia Open Your Ecommerce Website | Singapore Open Your Ecommerce Website
2. Click Open Your Ecommerce Website Today.
3. Set up an account for Business Owners.
4. Follow the instructions on the PayPal site.


Customers who already have a PayPal Personal or Premier account:

1.Go to PayPal Open Your Ecommerce Website | Canada Open Your Ecommerce Website | Australia Open Your Ecommerce Website | Singapore Open Your Ecommerce Website
2. Click the Upgrade your Account link.
3. Click the Upgrade Now button.
4. Choose to upgrade to a Business account and follow instructions to complete the upgrade.
5. If you haven't already, add a bank account to become a Verified member. Follow the instructions on the PayPal site. This process may take 2-3 business days.

For customers who wish to use their existing merchant bank account with the PayPal PayFlow gateway can sign up for a PayPal PayFlow account here

Step 2: Apply for Website Payments Pro (optional)

This step is only required for if you wish your customers enter their credit/debit card payments directly on their own website rather than on PayPal pages should use use PayPal Website Payments Pro.

1. Go to https://www.paypal.com.
2. Click the Merchant Services tab.
3. Click Website Payments Pro.
4. Click Open Your Ecommerce Website Now.
5. Fill in your information, and submit your application. Approval takes between 24 and 48 hours.
6. Once approved, accept the Website Payments Pro billing agreement. Check the Getting Started section on the upper left of your account overview page.



Step 3: Set Up API Access

Third-party authentication: Grant your Go Ecommerce the appropriate API authentication permissions

1. Log in to your PayPal account and click the Profile subtab.
2. Click the API Access link in the Account Information column.
3. Click the Grant API Permission link.
4. In the Enter an API Partner Username field, enter PayPalUK.
5. Check Express_Checkout and any other APIs the customer needs to access:
        Direct_Payment
        Express_Checkout
        Admin_API
        Auth_Settle
6. Click the Save button..

How do I integrate Express Checkout?
Add Express Checkout in a few easy steps


1. Sign up for a PayPal Business Account
2. Choose Go Ecommerce as an integration method
3. Login into your Shop Administrators Portal > Select Advanced Menu > Checkouts > Edit > select use Express 4. Checkout as a checkout > click Save
4. Go back to Advanced Menu > Edit Payment Gateway Accounts > Select the payment gateway method you are using (e.g. PayPal PayFlow) > enter your PayPal merchant account details > click Save


How do I integrate Website Payments Pro?
Add Website Payments Pro in a few easy steps

1. Sign up for Website Payments Pro (details above)
2. Verify your information
3. Select connect to Website Payments Pro on the Shop Payment Account screen on the Shop Administrators Portal
4. Go back to Advanced Menu > Edit Payment Gateway Accounts > Select the payment gateway method you are using > enter your PayPal merchant account details > click Save
