Sign up for a no obligation, no contract, free 30 day FREE trial. You will have full access to all features enabling you to start building right away! And if you make some sales in the free trial period that's fine too - there will no charge whatsoever.

What languages do you support?

The Merchant Control Panel, web shop, shopping cart and checkout are in English.

What currencies can I sell in?

You may sell in a wide range of international currencies such as British Pounds (GBP), Euros (EUR), Hong Kong Dollars (HKD), Singapore Dollars (SKD), US Dollars (USD) and more. For a full list click here.
 

I already have a online store or shopping cart, can I migrate it to here easily?


Yes you can. Using the bulk import facility in the Merchant Control Panel you can quickly upload 1000s of products and pictures. We will help you with any migration.

We will need your shops data such as products and categories sent to us in a suitable format such as an Excel spreadsheet or a CSV file. We are open to working with other formats if it suits you. We will personally help you get up and running. You are not alone!



How do I open a web shop?

Just go to the sign up page and enter your details!

Is there a restriction on the size of my online store?

Unlike some service providers, there is no restriction to the size of your online store or shopping cart for all plans. Sell as many products as you like at no extra charge! No restrictions.

We want you to add as many products as you wish to sell. We do not place any restriction on the number of products you wish to sell, or force you to upgrade to a high cost plan.


Set Up

What is the URL of my online store or shopping cart?

You will immediately be given free of charge an internet address of the following format
http://yourbusiness.go-ecommerce.com

When you are ready you can easily replace this with your own internet address of
http://www.yourbusiness.com


I already have a domain name, can I use this with my web shop here?

Yes. All you would need to do is tell the service provider of your domain name you wish to transfer this address/domain to a new address (IP address) - our Go Ecommerce web server. We will assist with the details.

What will I need to run manage my orders and shopping cart setup?

A internet connection from a PC or Mac! That's it.

Do I need to know HTML?

No you do not. All the hard work for your online store or shopping cart has already been done for you. You can change presentation of the web site via your Merchant Control Panel and change the look of text with in-built WYSIWYG editors. 

If you sign up for an online store, you may also change the design of your online store by customising the web site templates

How will prospective customers find my products?

All web shops come pre-built with Search Engine Optimisation features to ensure your products are discovered and listed on major search engines accurately and correctly.

Using your Merchant Control Panel you control the information you wish displayed on seach engine listings to target prospective customers you wish to. All you need to do is enter the details you wish to be published to search engines and our software does the rest for you. No technical knowledge or understanding of how SEO works is needed.

What is Search Engine Optimisation - SEO?

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a web site or a web page in search engines via the "natural" or un-paid search results. Other forms of search engine marketing (SEM) target paid listings.

In general, the higher your web site pages are listed on search engine result list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search and industry-specific vertical search engines. This gives a web site web presence.

All web shops come SEO friendly web page address and editable information to ensure your products achieve good seach engine ranking. This is key to success for selling online.


Accepting Payments From Customers

How do I accept credit cards on my checkout?


The secure checkout pages come pre-integrated with Payment Gateways such as PayPal to allow you to take credit card payments securely from your customers. If you do not already have, sign up for a Merchant Account with one of our compatible Merchant Account & Payment Gateway providers. For information on payment gateway accounts go here

What credit cards can my customers use?

This depends on what payment gateway service you are using and the country you payment service account is in - usually you can sell to customers using the following credit cards - MasterCard, Maestro, Switch, Solo, VISA, VISA Electron, American Express, Discover and more.

What is a PayPal merchant?

To sell online, if you wish to accept credit/debit card payments, you will need a way you can get your customers credit card payments to your bank account. You will need a payment gateway account.

One option is to use PayPal which offers your customer excellent security and also the option to buy from your web shop with or without using their credit card. Once you have created your merchant account with PayPal you can enter these details into your Merchant Control Panel and your Checkout will be connected to PayPal immediately - simple!

Is my online store or shopping cart secure?

Yes. Our shared commerce server uses 128bit encryption for communication between our secure server and you or your customers when dealing with private or financial data.

Do you send my customer an order confirmation email?

Yes we do. This is part of all services plans. 


Do you provide merchant accounts or payment processing?

No. We are not a payment gateway, payment processor or aquiring bank. We provide to you an ecommerce website and if you need it an ecommerce server to allow your customers to make secure payments on your website. 


My Account

How do I pay for the service?

Once you sign up we open an account for you. Any charges are taken from this account. You may pay any amount at any time into this account to bring this account into credit. Charges are then taken from this account - depending upon which plan you are service charges are taken at the end of each month.


If you are on a Pay As You Go plan and you wish to switch off your web shop or shopping cart for a few months you can as there will be no money taken from your account. Very handy if you are planning a new product range, a relaunch, want time away or perhaps a rework of your web shop or cart.
